GUELPH: RBC Bank Attacks Continue

By: Alexis J.

Several days ago multiple RBC banks and ATM’s were sabotaged as a solidarity action to support the Wet’suwet’en Nation in their fight against the CGL pipeline and their right to self-determination. Militants in Guelph are continuing to attack key targets in hopes of helping to stop the CGL pipeline.

Currently, the Wet’suwet’en Nation are heroically defending their land from the fascist colonial militia, the Royal Mounted Canadian Police (RCMP). The RCMP are illegally invading unceded sovereign land to displace the people living there so that a toxic pipe line can be built.

This pipeline and the actions taken by the RCMP are completely illegal and showcase the true horrors of Canadian settler-colonialism; reconciliation is dead and the Canadian state’s genocide of Indigenous people continues.

Luckily all across so-called Canada people are fighting back and resisting the Canadian state. There are dozens of railway blockades, occupations, demonstrations and actions happening right now to support the Wet’suwet’en Nation and their just fight against colonial violence.

Let us organize now for a general strike that can paralyze the entire Canadian bourgeois economy and make them listen to the Wet’suwet’en Nation. If we want to stop the Canadian imperialists we need to strike at the heart of capitalism, at our workplaces. This is where we, as workers and proletarians have all our Power.

We call on all progressive people, all workers, all revolutionaries, all good-hearted people to organize now for a general strike against Canadian settler-colonialism, imperialism and capitalism.
Guelph is the occupied territory of Mississaugas of the Credit Nation and Anishinabek Nation
